LOVE
Is Thicker Than Water

I was taught that you remembered which color was on the bottom of the Texas flag with the adage "blood is thicker than water." After the events along our coastline, it's clear that the love is thicker than water, too.

I've been occupying my heavy-hearted and sleepless nights painting what were originally intended as notecards for Austin refugee welcome kits. Friends suggested I offer them for sale to raise money for hurricane relief ... and here we are. As a designer I love to make things, and as a Texan (from Houston with loved ones all along the coast) ... I just want to do what I can to help.

My goal is to reach $2000 in donations. I am donating all materials, ALL PROCEEDS will go to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund established by Houston's Mayor Sylvester Turner and County Judge Ed Emmett.
